Corporate Regatta

This superb Rowing Challenge will be run for the 3rd time during the summer of 2008 just weeks before the Olympic Games in Beijing.  As previous years have been so successful, we are keeping to the same plan and pitching to individuals within companies who have never rowed before. However, this year we will be making a donation to SPARKS from each entry fee, as well as introducing a first prize of £5000 to be given to the charity of the winners choice. The race will take place at Dorney Lake near Windsor on July 6, where we will see the culmination of a months preparation.

The crews will need to train on the water either in Windsor or in the Docklands in London for ninety minutes a week. This will be organised around the working day and be run by qualified rowing coaches. This challenge will not be open to experienced rowers and will not allow for more than ninety minutes on the water each week. However cross training, diet, teamwork and psychology are all part of the month's training.
